Titan BS 35F-CS Simplex Basket Strainer

The BS 35F-CS is a flanged Simplex Basket Strainer. Its flanged ends allow for easy integration into virtually any pipeline and easy removal for maintenance or replacement. This strainer has carbon steel construction and a machined groove encapsulating the cover gasket that aids in preventing gasket blow-outs. The large straining element over-the-top flow path on the BS 35F-CS allow for minimal pressure drop and allow optimal performance. This strainer has the option of bolted or quick open cover, giving you control over how you want to access the straining element.

In sizes from 1” to 8”, this flanged strainer can store a large amount of debris in its sizeable body. In fact, strainers in this series have a capacity of minimum of six times that of the cross-sectional area of the connecting pipe. This carbon steel strainer has a variety of perforation meshes, and materials for the straining element, giving you even more freedom. Titan can add a self-cleaning option to the bottom valve drain which allows for automatic flushing of the straining element while keeping the pipeline in service.
