Some industrial applications do not require an expensive metal basket strainer. For those applications, Spears has created a brilliant line of PVC & CPVC Basket Strainers. These heavy bodied PVC/CPVC basket strainers can handle internal pressures from 50-150psi, depending on size. Their service temperatures are 140F (60C) and 200F (93C) for PVC and CPVC, respectively. Spears PVC & CPVC Basket Strainers are available in almost every possible size, from ½”-12”, so they are easy to integrate into a system.
