Y Strainers are a perfect option for commercial and industrial applications in which limited space is a factor. These strainers take up much less space than typical basket strainers due to their Y-shaped design. These strainers are also versatile, giving users the option to install them vertically or horizontally. Titan Y Strainers work in-line with a piping system. Debris and particles are caught in the basket and fall down to the lower leg of the strainer, while liquid is allowed to pass through.
Many manufacturers use Titan Y Strainers due to how easy they are to clean and maintain. They each have an easy-to-clean blow-off connection that allows particles to be removed quickly, with minimal interruption to service. On many models, basket covers are available in a variety of designs, including wing, clam, and hinge covers.
