Hayward YSH 1/2" Clear PVC Y-Strainer with Integral Threaded Ends
This 1/2" Hayward YSH Series Y-Strainer combines reliable particulate removal with a compact, serviceable design built for commercial and industrial filtration systems. The body is molded from Clear PVC (Clear PVC Cell Class 12454 per ASTM D1784), paired with a PVC straining basket and EPDM o-ring seals.
The transparent Clear PVC construction allows operators to visually monitor flow conditions and screen buildup without disassembly, reducing downtime during maintenance checks.
Integral threaded ends allow for straightforward installation and removal using standard NPT fittings, making this a practical choice for applications that may require periodic repositioning.
Sealed with EPDM o-rings, which offer broad compatibility with water, dilute acids, and alkaline solutions — a versatile choice for most water treatment and general industrial environments.
