Eaton's model 72SJ simplex strainer is designed to handle applications where media must remain hot to flow freely through the pipe line and strainer. For media like chocolate for instance, the strainer is able to stay hot using the steam jacket design. Steam or liquid is circulated through the jacket which is welded to the body. This jacket can withstand pressures of up to 100 PSI (steam). This particular model type: ST072020BR20SJ is constructed of stainless steel and has 2" raised face flange connections.
