We have 100 micron filter bags to be used with almost any industrial job - from chemical processing to water filtration. 100 micron bags are one of the most common micron ratings used throughout the world. Generally, filter bags are used in conjunction with a filter housing which allows media to enter, pass through the bag, and then exit. The bag can then be replaced once it becomes full of collected dirt.

Most industrial filter bags are sorted by micron rating. This is essentially the size of particle the bag will filter out. One micron is one thousandth of a millimeter in size. That means a 100 micron bag will filter out matter that is about 1/10th of a millimeter in size. This is dependent on the media type, bag testing, and many other factors. Micron size is used more as a rule of thumb to help you find the bag properties that work best to accomplish your filtration goals.
