The BS 95-AB Simplex Basket Strainer is an aluminum bronze strainer from Titan. Aluminum bronze is a less common material that is particularly suited to corrosive applications, such as seawater and marine. Due to this material’s high coper content, micro-organisms cannot colonize on the aluminum bronze surfaces. This strainer meets requirement for lead free use in potable water system, with 0.25% or less lead content in wetted surfaces. It can also withstand high pressures, with a bolted cover and PTFE cover gasket providing a pressure rating of 225psi at 150°F.
