The Eaton POLYLINE is an all-plastic single bag filter housing constructed from glass fiber reinforced polypropylene or PVDF (Kynar). It is designed for corrosive liquid filtration and ultra-pure applications where metal housings are not suitable. The one-piece molded body contains no metal components, seams, welds, or crevices, making it easy to clean and resistant to contamination. The POLYLINE accepts size 01 and size 02 filter bags and is available with 2" NPT threaded or 2" 150# ANSI flanged connections.
Because the POLYLINE uses a hand-removable spin-off cover rather than bolted or clamped hardware, the housing has fewer mechanical parts than a traditional metal vessel. However, the parts it does use are critical to maintaining a proper seal and reliable filtration performance.

Available Replacement Parts
Cover O-Rings - The O-ring that seals the cover to the housing body is the most frequently replaced part on the POLYLINE. Eaton recommends replacing the cover O-ring each time the housing is opened for a bag change. Reusing a worn or compressed O-ring can result in a faulty seal and leaking. Available in Viton for broad chemical resistance.
Vent Valve Assemblies - The POLYLINE features a built-in all-plastic vent valve with an integral 1/4" gauge tap on the cover. Replacement vent assemblies are available if the original becomes damaged or fails to seal properly.
Restrainer Baskets - The internal basket supports the filter bag and maintains its shape during operation. Replacement baskets are available for both size 01 and size 02 configurations.
Hold-Down Rings - The hold-down ring secures the filter bag inside the restrainer basket and keeps it properly positioned within the housing. Replacement rings are available if the original is damaged or lost.
Differential Pressure Gauge Assemblies - DP gauge assemblies (stainless steel) can be added or replaced to monitor the pressure drop across the housing, which is the most reliable indicator that a filter bag needs to be changed.
Leg Assemblies - Support legs that mount the housing in position. Replacements are available if the originals are damaged.

Maintenance Tips
- Replace the cover O-ring every time you open the housing for a bag change. Eaton specifically recommends against reusing O-rings, as compression and wear can compromise the seal.
- Inspect the O-ring sealing surface on both the cover and the housing body during each bag change. Clean any debris or residue that could prevent a proper seal.
- Monitor the differential pressure across the housing to determine when the filter bag needs to be replaced. A rising pressure drop means the bag is loading with captured particulate.
- The POLYLINE body does not require special maintenance beyond cleaning with normal use, but all sealing components should be regularly inspected for wear.

The POLYLINE housing accepts standard Eaton size 01 and size 02 filter bags in a range of micron ratings and materials. The housing can also be fitted with an adapter to accept 20" or 30" filter cartridges for additional application flexibility.
