Each MicroSentry series has a different use and construction. The MS Series consists of string wound cartridges. Shelco uses computerized production machinery to create these high efficiency filters. The MB Series of melt-blown depth cartridges has a fixed pore construction that allows higher dirt holding capacity. Thermally bonded microfibers create a stable, self-supporting media in this series. The SS Series is made of high quality stainless steel. These filters hold up in high pressure, high temperature environments and can be reused!
The ME Series has high surface area pleated cartridges for lower initial pressure drop. These filters are made of a polyester/polypropylene blend that makes these the best alternative to strung wound, resin-bonded, or spun cartridges. Finally, the SCB series uses activated carbon to provide a reliable filtration surface.
