1-1/2" Hayward SLC True Union Spring Loaded PVC Check Valve, Socket End, EPDM Seats/O-Rings

Hayward series SLC spring-loaded Y-check valves are used to prevent the siphoning of tanks when the pump is shut off, to prevent loss of process fluid when the process of flow is stopped and to minimze the risk of water hammer resulting from starting the pump in an open line. Series SLC's full flow design is offered in dependable PVC with choice of socket, threaded or true union end connections with either FPM or EPDM seats and seals in 1/2" to 4" sizes. Series SLC opens in any position from 2 to 15 PSI, can be installed both horizontally and vertically and is easy to maintain.
