The model 85 uses specially fabricated stainless steel perforated screen or wire mesh inside of its heavy-duty SS body to remove solids from liquid, gas, and steam lines. Eaton's 85 wye strainer can handle extreme pressures and temperatures which are common in gaseous lines. Features include a bolted cover, synthetic gaskets, and the ability to install horizontally or vertically.
