The 50 micron cartridge filters we offer not only come in different brands but in different materials and styles as well. This makes it much easier to find the unique cartridge filter that will meet your needs. The human eye cannot detect particles that are 40 microns or smaller. Unlike the smaller micron ratings we offer, the 50 micron cartridge filters are only able to filter particles that can be seen with the human eye. The cross-section of a human hair is around 50 microns, so that size particle and larger debris can be filtered by 50 micron cartridge filters without causing frequent clogging.
