Titan Flow Controls Model YS 59-CI y strainer is a Cast Iron strainer that ranges in size from 2 inches - 12 inches (larger sizes available). The strainer body material is lead free and the strainer capabilities provide large straining capacity (2.5 times larger than the corresponding pipeline). The YS59 provides great open area ratios when it comes to it's straining capacity. With a tapped NPT Blow-Off connection, this unit can be fitted with a blow-down valve which facilitates cleaning of the straining element. The Titan YS59-CI is typically installed in piping systems to remove debris downstream from pumps, meters, nozzles, turbines, etc. They can run horizontal or vertical in nature.
