Titan BS 55-CI Simplex Basket Strainer

The BS 55-CI Simplex Basket Strainer is a cast iron strainer with flanged ends. These flanged ends can be incorporated to pipelines of any material. With a large open area, a straight-through flow path, and a slanted straining element design, pressure loss is kept small as media passes through. This basket strainer has a large body that can hold a significant amount of debris at a time, which maximizes the amount of time between servicing. This model is available in sizes from 2” to 20” and has a clamped cover.

The cast iron body of the BS 55-CI is lead free and coated with NSF/ANSI and FDA approved Epoxy. These coatings make the strainer suitable for potable water and food contact applications.
