The BS 85-CS Simplex Basket Strainer is a carbon steel basket strainer with flanged ends. This strainer excels in extreme temperatures and pressures, so it is ideal for harsh conditions. With a pressure rating of 285psi at 100°F and a temperature rating of up to 800°F, the BS 85-CS is one of the toughest strainers available. This strainer is available with a simple bolted cover or a quick-opening clamp cover for easy access to the straining element. The deep body of this carbon steel strainer allows for a large straining capacity with minimal pressure loss until the straining element is nearly full. Titan provides a high-quality Epoxy coating that allows this strainer to be used in potable applications.
